Don''t know about the S&W PPK/S, but I own an Interarms PPK/S for CCW. Bought it in almost-new condition, still in the box and with the extra mag. After preliminary inspection and cleaning, took it to the range. A little nervous about the reputation for biting first time out but fired 100 rounds of Winchester 95gr FMJ with no bite, FTF/FTE/jam etc. Even with the fixed sights, and with a two-hand grip, gun proved accurate enough to put all rounds in the head of a standard profile target from 7 to 25 yards. Personal experience with a Crimson Trace grip on two other pistols I own dictated that ordered a CT grip for my PPK/S to improve low light capability. Pistol is easy to clean ]even with the nasty Winchester white box ammo[and maintain and the slim profile makes it a comfortable carry weapon.

so i buy this sterling silver factory engraved walther ppk/s 24 years ago for around $2,500.00 I got tired of looken at it in the show case, so I finally took it out for a spin around the range. After i picked up everyones jaw from the ground, and with disbelief in their eyes. All remarks were, you''r not really gonna shoot that are you? O yea baby, LOCK N LOAD, bang bang silver hammer. Not a skip, no jam, no safety problem, nothing.Just real german fire power, and how sweet it is. Say hello to my little friend, every day on my side 24/7 no more in a showcase just me my holster and my Sterling Silver Factory Engraved 380 out to dinner.Thank You very much but no thanks to saving my guns for the future, Now is the future.

I''ve owned this gun for several years and it is my main ccw. I did have a couple jams when I first fired it, but only a couple in the first 200 or so rounds. Ever since, it has fired and cleared the chamber without fail. I love this gun, but I don''t love the fact that S&W has it for the next several weeks while they fix the recall. In the mean time, I''ve got a Glock 23 that I use as a ccw, but I prefer the smaller size of the PPK/S ]although I love the G23 as well[
