i got this gun 2nd hand igot it for idpa the mag release is ideal for my trashed wrist from boxing. regular release bottons are to hard to operate. after shooting i realized this is the finest stock pistol i ever shot. I shoot an average of 500 rounds a week using lead hand loads. Ive had this gun for 2 years now and no problems to this day.

I was on a convoy to Fellujah in 2005 when the convoy took a wrong turn going into the back gate. The marines responded with a QRF we quickly alerted them we were friendlys. As we turned the convoy and I was off of my gun truck directing tractor trailers we notice fast moving vehicles approaching. I was the number two gun truck I quickly reboarded my gun truck trying to turn my cruiseserve weapon on the vehicles. It was jammed with sand and I was unable to turn the weapon to engae the enemy as he by then danger close of less than 50 meters. All I heard was my Commanding Officer and the Tactical Commander scraming on the radio to take the shoot before we are blown up. I was unable to reach my M-4 in time so I stood my 6'6 tall body out of the top of my gun truck drew my Walther P99 and begin firing as the vehicle closed a 35 meter death zone. Three shots were fired the first skip off the top of the vehicle the second and third found there mark within inches of each other through the front glass bringing the vehicle to a rolling stop. Noone could believe the shoot untila fter inspection it was confirmed I stoped a vehicle with a 9mm. I was a Military Advisor training I raqi Soldiers that is why I had possesion of the weapon. As a Advisor you had to carry the weapon as a show of faith to the soldiers you were training that yes this was a excelent weapon.
