Compact pistols for concealed carry
Today's trend is toward pistols that are compact in design and light in weight, yet have all the features that the law enforcement professional is seeking.
System identical with the full size models
The Walther pistol P99 Compact has the same highly advanced design features of the full size Walther pistol P99, but in a size that is designed for concealed carry. Just like the full size version, the compact Walther hand gun P99 is available with the same trigger varation as the Walther firearm AS. The frame backstraps are interchangable so that the pistol will fit in a wide variety of hand sizes. The pistol will not snag in clothing when it is drawn, thanks to rounded edges. The hammerless striker system and safety devices integral to the Walther pistol P99 are also available in the Walther pistol P99 Compact. The compact version is delivered, as standard equipment, with a flat-bottom magazine butt plate and a finger rest magazine butt plate. The frame is molded with a Weaver-style rail to accept lights and lasers.

done a lot of research about the pistol, i liked what i found out. purchased one 12-16-09. I have been very very pleased with all the carry concealed aspects. Gun seems to be very accurate, never jamed on me, also appricate ease of cleaning and the maintiance. I also like the fact that i can change the clips and have a third finger grip or change clips for more comfort for conceled carry. the fact that the gun itself comes with two clips instead of one like PPS model.

This gun has never jamed. Whatever I put in it just kept firing. I have put more than 300 rounds at one time, no problems.
