Laser Aiming Systems Viridian Laser will fit Springfield XD pistols (4" and 5" barrel;
not Sub-Compact). Laser color is green. Laser housing is black .

Extremely bright green laser fully functional for daytime use, highly intimidating for night time use. Designed specifically for your Springfield XD (4" and 5" barrel), the Viridian SXD is manufactured with durable, lightweight polymers very similar to the materials used by today's leading gun manufacturers. In fact, the Viridian SXD weighs only 0.18 lbs with battery installed. The Viridian also has fully adjustable windage and elevation and comes complete with CR2 lithium battery, 2 Allen wrenches, and Operator’s Manual.

No set screws needed! Simply slide your Viridian green laser sight onto your accessory rail until it securely locks into place with the XD's latch bar. Extend your right or left index finger to locate the Viridian's On/Off switch to have complete control of the beam of green laser light. The Viridian has been manufactured to produce laser light at the maximum legally allowed power for civilian use in the United States. And it produces this light at the color that has the maximum brightness to the human eye within the visible spectrum.... Green.

Rating:  very cool extremely bright easy to install and remove had it on the gun and sighted in minutes it would be nice if the switch was within reach of trigger finger still very pleased thanx

Rating: Viridian's Green Laser is the best, Use mine on XD45, Everyone at the range is jealous when they see the Bright Green in the daytime, Customer service is also top drawer, I am just waiting for a Viridan to fit my Browning 9mm.
And I will be buying another
If you are just thinking about putting a Laser on your pistol, Choose Viridian, You will not go wrong, It is far superior to the rest of the Reds on the market today.
